In this role, you will spearhead the establishment and management of an accounting shared service center, overseeing a team of approximately 10 accountants across 6 countries. Your responsibilities will encompass month-end and year-end closures, financial tasks, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
– Serve as the primary point of contact on location-specific matters related to invoice and payment processing.
– Lead period-end closing activities, including coordination with other departments on tasks such as bank reconciliation, account payables and receivables closure, and intercompany reconciliation.
– Supervise team members, handling recruitment, performance management, and career development.
– Prepare and validate management reports, including budget and overhead analyses, to support decision-making.
– Drive and oversee improvement projects, processes, and documentation, such as ERP implementation.
Qualifications:
– Degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a history of advancement within the organization.
Technical Skills:
– Strong understanding of finance principles.
– Process improvement acumen.
– Commodity industry knowledge is advantageous.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
