Responsibilities:

• Operate Easer L Epiroc Machine (Cubex)
• Read, understand, control and adjust Easer machine setting
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Read and understand cable bolt layouts
• Responsible for application of the whole long holes drilling process in an underground mine
• Pilot and ream safely and inefficiently in underground environment
• Perform the work with an adequate ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath’s motto consider it done safely
• Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards

Qualification Requirements:

• Engineering High school diploma or equivalent;
• Certificate of Competence in technical high school

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• Strong knowledge & understanding drilling plan standards ;
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in underground mining, predominantly Underground experience.
• Be proactive, punctual and expeditious and attentive to detail;
• Easer_L drill experience with Epiroc equipment ;
• Resilience, flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks on a daily basis and in emergency conditions;
